Scientific management of the electron microscopy facility in the group of Prof. Bein
We are acting as a central lab for non-biological applications of electron microscopy in the Department of Chemistry. We support and collaborate with a number of groups in and around Munich, especially those involved in the research initiatives CENS and NIM. Our equipment involves the transmission electron microscopes JEOL 2011 and FEI Titan 80-300 allowing access to a number of EM-techniques. If you think that electron microscopy might be beneficial for your own research, contact us.
My research interests:
Electron microscopy in general, in particular structure analysis of crystals and disordered materials using electron diffraction and high resolution electron microscopy.
